The International Scientific Meeting for PIK3CA Related Conditions is hosted and sponsored by CLOVES Syndrome Community (CSC), in collaboration with Chairs Dr. Denise Adams of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Miikka Vikkula of de Duve Institute and Dr. Jean Zhao of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. We are hosting this meeting as part of our patient led PIK3CA Related Conditions Research Network development with the Rare As One Network.
Where and when?

Social event to follow from 3-5pm
Friday October 29, 2021 10am – 3pm EST
Why sponsor this meeting?
For the first time, this two-day meeting will bring together approximately 100 international experts in PIK3CA including clinicians, researchers, basic scientists, patients, patient groups and industry representatives to exchange ideas, share latest data and foster collaboration. The objectives are:
- To bring together the experts in the PIK3CA pathway including clinicians, clinical researchers and basic scientists to allow opportunities to present new information, share data, foster collaboration and encourage networking
- To encourage new researchers to enter the field, to collaborate with others in the field and to collaborate with our patient organizations
- To identify the gaps and unmet needs for our heterogenous patient populations
CSC is looking for partners in this important scientific endeavor. The following pages details the sponsorship opportunities, at varying levels of support, available to our potential sponsors. It is our hope to cultivate lasting relationships with our conference sponsors and exhibitors.

Gold and Silver level sponsors at the International Scientific Meeting for PIK3CA Related Conditions have the unique opportunity to present directly to attendees through 1 hour or 30-minute symposium slots. These spots are the perfect opportunity to educate the PIK3CA Related Conditions scientific and patient community about your company, the work you are doing in the field and to showcase new and exciting developments.
In what format should the symposium be?
The presentation format is up to you but we would suggest a presentation highlighting your work with plenty of time for Q&A.
Who will be in the audience?
Participants may choose to opt in to your symposium. The audience will be a mix of the global PIK3CA scientific and clinician community as well as patients and caregivers.
What are our timing options?
You have the option of holding your symposium simultaneously with the abstract presentations or as a pre-meeting session either Thursday or Friday.
How will attendees know to come to the symposium?
An announcement of your symposium time and topic will go out in our meeting newsletter and it will be included in the agenda on the meeting website.
No CME accreditation will be available for symposium attendees.
Additional sponsorship items:

The Conference Organizing Committee invites authors to submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the Scientific Program for either oral or poster presentations. We encourage submissions that cover the entire spectrum of PIK3CA Related Conditions including: CLOVES, Macrodactyly, CLAPO, DCMO, KTS, FAVA, M-CM, HHML, Isolated Lymphatic and Venous Malformations, GLA and FIL.
The conference sessions will be organized around the themes of Basic Science, Preclinical Research, Diagnosis/Natural History and Treatment, however other topics of research are encouraged and welcomed for submission. Within each of these themes we will bring together basic scientists and clinicians, in the hope of stimulating and educating both.
Abstracts should only include original unpublished data. Case reports must be submitted for poster presentation.
Abstract submissions open May 1, 2021 and are due June 15, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.
All submitters will receive notification of abstract acceptance and presentation type by August 2, 2021.
Attendees will provide evaluation data relating to the objectives of the meeting. This feedback will be shared with sponsors.
